Following graduation of his M.B.A., Jack began a career with Procter & Gamble. During the first twenty-four (24) years of his career he progressed through the Customer Business Development (Sales) organization with increasing levels of responsibility.
Beginning in 1995, Jack and his wife Trish moved to Southeast Asia. They lived in Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore. In Jack’s position as Director of Customer Business Development, his responsibilities included sales responsibility for AAI (Australia/New Zealand, ASEAN, and India) and business responsibility for Asia Exports and Salty Snacks.
Jack’s international experiences range from trips throughout Asia and Europe to spending a month living with a family in Indonesia. These experiences helped Jack learn the importance of having a willingness to adapt, to change, and to appreciate diversity in order to compete in a “Shrinking World”.
Upon returning to Knoxville, Jack increased his involvement in a family leasing business. He is a member of the UT Advisory Board College of Business and the UT Development Council.
Jack and Trish have two (2) grown children and three (3) grandchildren. The children live in Nashville. Both children are active in the family leasing business.
