Full Time Work Experience:
Schlumberger Oilfield Services, Field Engineer, October 1999-August 2001.
Developed trouble shooting skills to isolate tool problems at the oil well site at once, and acting accordingly. Worked under pressure, sometimes up to 60 hrs continuously, at the well site making sure at all times that the client was satisfied and the data was reliable. Developed cutting edge knowledge about oil well evaluation tools, and techniques as well as completion services. Gained hands-on experience on explosives and perforation with different kinds of charges and guns. Worked on different stages of the oil production cycle starting from the surface seismic techniques to the production stage.
Part Time Work Experience:
The University of Texas at San Antonio, Graduate Research Assistant, September2001-September 2003
Worked on preparing literature reviews, searching for articles in academic journals and analyzing data through statistical models. Some topics of research that I worked on included eliminating delays in production and project management maturity models. I also helped my instructor in compiling course material for two courses being offered for the first time for the Management of Technology students (Advanced topics in Project Management &Issues in Engineering Management).
