Rodney W. Thomas is a doctoral student in the Department of Marketing and Logistics at the University of Tennessee. Prior to returning to graduate school, Mr. Thomas held multiple positions with Lowe’s Home Improvement Company including Director of Logistics, Merchandise Buyer, Logistics Manager, and Logistics Specialist. He also has previous work experiences with IBM as a Supply Planner and Michelin Tire Company as a Marketing and Sales Manager. His research interests focus on the strategic role, characteristics, and effectiveness of supply chain relationships. His research has appeared in conference proceedings.
